Who are we?

The history of the Supratec group

Founded in 1962 by Jean Jestin, Supratec specialises in technical trading, distributing mechanical components dedicated to industrial production. This approach quickly positions Supratec as a recognised technical partner for French manufacturers.

Over the decades, the company has continued to develop under the leadership of Jean-Marie Jestin, the founder’s son. This new phase marks a gradual diversification of activities, aimed at consolidating Supratec’s position in its traditional markets while supporting the evolving needs of industry. The group broadens its offering by expanding into new sectors and strengthening its technical expertise and capacity for innovation.
In 2020, group leadership was entrusted to Yoann Hébert, with the mission of steering Supratec towards strong, sustained growth.

Today, Supratec is a recognised industrial group, capable of designing and offering customised solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each industry. With five companies under its umbrella, whose activities range from the distribution of aeronautical components to customised industrial marking solutions, the group has established a lasting presence in the French and international industrial landscape.
With turnover exceeding €60 million, a third of which is generated internationally, Supratec continues its growth trajectory, relying on its founding values: technical expertise, customer proximity and an innovative spirit, while remaining true to its family-business DNA.
